About

I believe in starting children off on the right track. They will begin learning to read music from the very first lesson, as well as the fundamentals of beat, rhythm and technique.

I use a repertoire-rich approach to learning – lots of music at varying levels (after the initial stages of learning the basics) rather than learning only 3-4 more difficult songs each year. This keeps students engaged, develops their sightreading and ability to teach themselves, and exposes them to a wide range of musical styles, keys, time signatures and techniques.

Experienced and patient teacher located in Anstead. AMEB exam preparation available if desired or simply learn for you own enjoyment. Lessons held in my home studio during the state school term.

I also teach piano in the Lower Primary at St Peters Lutheran College Indooroopilly.
