Sally Hughes

Sally Hughes is from England and has been in Australia for 20 years. She has been playing the piano since the age of 8. She studied Flute and Piano at Bath University, England. She has Grade 8 Piano from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London and a B.Ed.(Hons) degree in Music. She has a wide range of performing experience as a soloist, in an Irish Folk band, orchestras, chamber music, pit orchestras in the theatre, accompanying students on piano for examinations and concerts and playing jazz flute. Sally has been teaching piano, keyboard and flute for 30 years to all ages and levels in Primary & Secondary schools and privately and adjusts lessons to students’ interests. Lessons for pleasure or for exams are available, or both !
She is based in Brighton but can also teach in nearby suburbs, and online.
