An active performing artist and musician, Siwei draws from a breadth of live performance experience and training to offer her students a holistic and thorough music education, for beginners to advanced/intermediate level. She ensures her students develop an integrated understanding of music – theory, expression and overall musicality, that mirrors their technical growth on the instrument.
Siwei helps her students develop essential skills through their chosen instrument that can be applied to their growth in all areas of life. This includes: body awareness (to prevent injury), effective practice methods, aptitude for learning, analytical skills, problem-solving, creativity, communication & overall confidence.
Siwei is an empathetic teacher, adapting lessons to support the unique learning style and goals of each individual student.
The teaching studio includes a piano, multiple keyboards and harps to suit all sizes. Students are not required to bring their own instrument unless specifically required.
Undergoing AMEB exams is optional.
Casual lessons are welcome.

Siwei is an artist, soloist musician and composer, performing most recently at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival 2025 with her Freedom Fly trio & duo, playing all her own original compositions on voice, keyboards and harp. She has performed & recorded on both piano and harp for many Australian acts and significant artists, touring and performing at notable festivals.
