About

Hi, I’m Georgia! I’m a songwriter and performer with 10 years experience in the music industry. I graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance and I play and write for two bands that play locally in venues around Brisbane.

For students looking to write their own music to play by yourself or bring to a band. Music theory is NOT essential for these lessons – just a passion and interest in writing songs!

Songwriting is different for everyone and my goal as a teacher is to help you find your own personal process to bring your ideas to life! Whether you have written a song or two and want to improve and develop your skills, or you have never written a song and want to begin; my lessons are structured in a collaborative and welcoming environment where there are no bad ideas!

Students are welcome to bring an instrument of their choice or use an instrument provided in the studio (guitar, keyboard/piano, bass and ukulele).

• What Makes a Song? (Form and Structure)
• Lyric Writing Techniques
• Developing a Songwriting Process
• Learn basic chords on Guitar, Piano or Ukulele to accompany yourself.

I am a songwriter for 2 of my bands that play in local venues around Brisbane. I record and produce my own music, for demos and releases. I am a graduate from the Queensland Conservatorium where I earned my Bachelor of Music (Flute Performance) and I also play guitar, bass, vocals and piano.
