Terence Liu is performing artist with performing experience throughout Europe (France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany), Asia (China, Thailand) and Australia as a soloist and a chamber musician.
He graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Music (Honours), Conservatoire de Bordeaux with his Diplôme d’Études Musicales and the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with his Master of Music.
Terence is currently highly sought after with his students nationally and internationally having continuous success through VCE, AMEB and auditions for a decade. He has experience adjudicating music competitions and has given many masterclasses at The University of Melbourne on saxophone and saxophone chamber music groups. He is highly passionate about music and saxophone education and is dedicated to his students’ goals and self-improvement; whether it be:
-Beginners who are new music and saxophone
-Those wanting to accelerate through the AMEB grades
-Students looking for music scholarships for entry into Year 5,7 or 9
-VCE students seeking high study scores
-Advanced students interested in auditioning to study at university
-Adults looking to enjoy a hobby and play with others
Terence is also the 3rd place winner at the CLASAX Yamaha Saxophone Competition and the recipient of the Forest Collective 20/21st Century Award.
