I am an accomplished upright and electric bass player based in the Mornington Peninsula, with over 20 years of professional experience. I graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where I specialised in jazz performance on the double bass.
With a broad background in music education spanning public and private schools, as well as private tuition, I’ve helped students of all ages and skill levels achieve their musical goals. My performance work covers a wide range of genres, including jazz, pop, classical, rock, Latin, country, and New Orleans-style music.
I’ve performed in orchestral pits, concert bands, cover bands, and ensembles across Australia, and I currently serve as a full-time musician in the Royal Australian Navy Band.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a self-taught player looking to break through a plateau, preparing for VCE or AMEB music exams, or eager to join a band, I tailor one-on-one lessons to meet your specific goals.

• Jazz and classical theory
• Music composition (handwritten and using Sibelius)
