If you’re an ‘older’ student, re-starting piano after decades of not playing and feeling a bit nervous about it all, I can highly recommend Zeljko at the Paddington Music Studio. Here’s why.

Thirdly, he is capable, flexible and prepared to adapt his teaching style to your level, your physical capabilities, your pace of learning, and your goals.

Finally, he’s a really nice person who is very patient and who you can have a laugh with…And if you’re an adult like me, with poor technique and a bit of arthritis, who’s trying to re-learn after many years, you’ll probably need to keep your sense of humour!

When I was searching for a teacher, I read Zeljko’s other reviews, and I can now confirm that these reviews are all accurate. I’m very pleased at how quickly I have progressed as a result of Zeljko’s teaching, and I very much encourage you to give him a go!

Good quality accordion teachers are very hard to come by. Thank goodness for Zeljko Bedic OAM at Paddington Music Studio. I approached Zeljko for lessons when I inherited an accordion and wanted to learn how to play it. He was very communicative and personable when responding to my emails, even though he was overseas at the time. He was flexible in developing a suitable lesson schedule for me and was transparent and up front about the fee structure. There were definitely no hidden surprises.

Then came the lessons. When Zeljko demonstrated what the accordion could do I felt inspired and not intimidated at all, despite his mastery of the instrument. I had no idea the accordion could be such a fun instrument to play. Zeljko was patient and encouraging, and even let me play his professional accordion on occasion, which is a much better quality than mine. Lessons were fun and relaxed but efficiently structured. Time flew by during our lessons and I always left feeling uplifted. My progress with the instrument was a lot faster than I thought it would be, and it is still a source of joy for me to pick up my accordion and play for my own enjoyment.

Zeljko is experienced and well connected and I will be sure to ask him for advice when I am ready to upgrade my accordion. If you are considering learning a new instrument, or even brushing up on some existing skills, then consider learning to play the accordion with the best teacher, Zeljko at the Paddington Music Studio. I have had a love for music all my life but never had the opportunity to master the piano in a way that would be enjoyable for others to listen to and most importantly to provide me with enjoyment and pleasure. One of the best things I have done this year is to return to learning to play the piano.
