Music Teacher Guitar, Guitar Acoustic, Guitar Bass Electric, Guitar Electric
Clyde Schipke is a professional guitarist, performer, and music teacher with over 40 years experience in the Australian music Industry. He conducts one-on-one guitar and bass lessons for students High School age and older from his home studio in Gympie, Queensland. All styles are covered - Rock, Pop, Blues, Country, Folk, Jazz, Metal, Funk, Progressive Rock, Fusion, and others - Clyde has played and studied all these styles for a living at some point. Levels range from total beginners to very advanced. For example, beginners of all ages will learn basic (and trick!) chords and strumming patterns; Blues players will expand their fretboard knowledge; modern rock players will enjoy Clyde's easy-to-understand approach to applying Modal and Functional theory, making sense of what can appear confusing to many (even very experienced) players. Modern speed/shred techniques are taught. Players who are 'in-a-rut' can find new inspiration. As well - song writing, arranging, and modern theory are all covered in Clyde's lessons. All players learn the art of improvisation. Clyde's teaching philosophy is to achieve a balance between what the student wants to learn, and what the student needs to learn, by using a song-and-application/analysis approach. Above all, lessons are fun and very informative. Clyde has taught some students for many years, and some have played with musicians such as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and Tom Morello. Call 0409063267.
