Hannah Reardon-Smith

Flute Music Teacher

I am an advanced performer who also loves to teach. I have 11 years of experience teaching from absolute beginner to advanced level, including preparing students for exams up to AMEB 8th grade and Associate of Music as well as for tertiary entrance and other auditions (such as Queensland Youth Orchestras). Students I have taught spanned in age from 8 to 63, and I'm happy to expand that range! Together we can work out exactly what you want to get out of lessons with me, whether that's advancing towards a particular goal, preparing for AMEB exams (including theory and music craft), or just playing for fun. I'll tailor the repertoire and supporting material to your needs and interests. I teach from my home studio in Woolloongabba. I have a cat that spends a lot of time in my studio room - while she is very friendly and probably won't hang around while we play, if you are allergic to cats I am happy to travel locally to teach you at your own premises. MTAQ rates: $68 per hour, $34 per half hour.
