Drawing on a wealth of teaching and performance experience Anthony is an ARIA award winning musician who maintains a high level of engagement with the accordion. Anthony was the winner or the Australasian Classical Freebass Championships along with other numerous awards at a national level. He has extensive experience as a performer at local, national and international levels and has an extensive discography.

Anthony started teaching in a studio in the early 1990s before moving into tertiary education along with a number of years providing piano tuition and conducting ensembles at secondary school level. He has taught at Box Hill College of TAFE, Methodist Ladies College, Lauriston Girls School, Carey Grammar, Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and is currently a lecturer in the Bachelor of Music at Melbourne Polytechnic.

At the heart of Anthony’s teaching is the belief that no two students are the same and that lessons must focus primarily on what will facilitate the best musical and educational experience for the individual.
