Fonda Mulia has been teaching piano for over thirty years, starting as a mentor assistant in her teenage years. Her passion for music led her to study at the Australian Institute of Music in Surry Hills, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Performance with distinction. Combining a strong academic foundation with years of teaching experience, Fonda is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized instruction that caters to each student’s unique goals and musical journey.
Fonda believes that every student has the potential to express music at their highest level when provided with the right strategies and techniques, all within a flexible, encouraging, and supportive environment. Beyond technical proficiency, she emphasizes the importance of open communication and collaboration with students and parents to foster meaningful progress. Many of her students have excelled in AMEB piano practical and music theory exams, often earning High Distinction results. Her students’ successes include a full music scholarship to a prestigious private school and strong performances in Eisteddfod Piano competitions.
As a lifelong learner, Fonda continuously refines her teaching methods to inspire and challenge her students. She also shares her musical journey through a YouTube channel, where she features recorded performances of various repertoire pieces, offering a valuable resource for her students and the broader music community.
Her studio is located in Winston Hills.
Lesson is tailor made based on individual needs and usually once a week. Beginner starts with 30 minutes lesson and gradually increase the time to 45 or 60 minutes lesson if necessary.

* $60.50/half-hour
* ACCOMPANIMENT: $85/half-hour
Fonda is also Accredited music teacher and holds Full MTA membership.
