About

Grace Hordern is a classically trained harpist with a Bachelor of Music Performance with Firsts Class Honours from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. She has been playing for over 10 years, performing in solo, chamber and orchestral settings. Currently, she is undertaking her Masters in Teaching at the University of Melbourne.

Grace’s lessons are very student-centred, and cater to a range of different learning needs. An experienced teacher, Grace’s lessons are engaging and aim to instil a love for music and all things harp in each student. She can prepare students for exams including aural training and theory teaching. She welcomes students of all ages and of varying musical backgrounds. Whether students are hoping to undertake musical exams or play purely of leisure, Grace’s lessons focus on extending musicality and technical proficiency so that students can play the repertoire they love.
