Sophie is a violin, viola, piano and music theory teacher based in Prahran.
As a professional violist, violinist and pianist she has performed nationally and internationally with state symphony orchestras. She teaches children and adults, beginners to advanced with a focus on finding enjoyment in making music.
She mainly teaches from home in Prahran, but local home visits can be arranged for an additional fee.
Her students have successfully won auditions for Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (University of Melbourne), VCASS and Melbourne Youth Orchestra.
Sophie has a WWCC and is a Masters in Music Performance graduate from VCA, University of Melbourne.
She embraces unique bespoke projects such as teaching acrobats wanting to incorporate playing an instrument into their circus routines.
