About

I have completed a Bachelor of Music (Musicology) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (German Studies) degree at Adelaide University. My studies included accompanying, conducting and instrumental pedagogy. In addition to my university studies, I have completed AMEB Certificate of Performance Piano, AMEB Grade 8 Flute and AMEB Grade 6 Music Theory. I have been granted Special Authority to Teach from the South Australian Teachers’ Registration Board and am registered with the Department of Education as a private music instructor.

I have been teaching piano, flute and recorder on a part-time basis for 5 years. I have conducted private and group lessons in a variety of settings including studio, school and online settings. I have worked with a wide variety of students ranging in age from kindergarten age through to adulthood and have taught from beginner to intermediate levels. I am dedicated to providing an excellent music education for all students. I aim to create a warm, safe and welcoming learning environment for students, engage them in learning and encourage them to strive to achieve their maximum musical potential.
