Baritone, currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Performance), majoring in Classical Voice and later Opera at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, learning under the mastery of Andrew Dalton (countertenor)
Extensive background in Musical Theatre, Lieder and Art Song.
Looking to teach young beginners who are interested in singing for whatever reason; whether you want to begin your journey towards stardom, or you are wanting to hold a tune at a party!
I first started singing when I was 13, amidst my voice changing from boy soprano to adolescent baritone. It was an awkward and strange time, and my friends and I who were all in the same boat and curious about singing ended up finding so much joy in our singing lessons with the great Stephen Tall (baritone).
We ended up doing numerous musicals together throughout our high school career, and many of us are still singing today whilst the others who didn’t continue extensively still hold an immense knowledge and appreciation of the amazing things the Voice can do!
This story is my inspiration to teach, and to spread the joy of singing, especially to young men.
I have extensive solo, chorus and choral singing experience within my career, including three years with the Gondwana National Chorale, and have secured a lead role in the Sydney Conservatorium’s 2020 undergraduate opera: Purcell’s ‘The Fairy Queen’.
