Starting cello lessons at the age of eight, Alex went onto study music at Goldsmiths College, University of London UK which led her to become a session musician. Alex has performed cello all over Europe for various artists and has performed at a number of UK festivals. She has recorded sessions on cello for various bands and commercial projects.
In 2012 Alex trained as a Primary Music teacher specialist and taught classroom music for 5 years in the UK. In 2018 Alex left the UK to work as a Primary Music teacher at the British International School of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Having worked as Head of Strings, Cello teacher and Classroom Music teacher at Brighton Grammar School in Melbourne, she now lives and works in the outer suburbs!
As well as teaching cello, Alex also teaches Primary Performing Arts and Music.
