I specialise in helping motivated beginner students build strong musical foundations through structured, engaging lessons. My teaching is best suited to students who are committed to learning and want to develop the skills to become confident, independent musicians.
Rather than focusing solely on learning individual songs, I place a strong emphasis on sight-reading, technique, and musical understanding. These core skills enable students to learn new pieces more efficiently and continue progressing long after each lesson.
With almost a decade of teaching experience, I have helped students:
* Successfully complete AMEB piano examinations
* Perform confidently at school concerts and recitals
* Develop strong sight-reading skills and lasting confidence at the piano
I hold an AMEB Grade 8 qualification and have extensive performance experience in bands and orchestras, bringing both technical knowledge and real-world musicianship into my teaching.
