I’m a composer, multi-instrumentalist and music educator with 7 years of teaching experience, working with children, teenagers and adults across a range of musical goals and experience levels.
I studied Music Composition at IP Projazz in Chile, specialising in music for cinema and audiovisual media. My training includes harmony, music theory, composition, arranging and orchestration, alongside years of practical experience in performance, recording, music production and live music.
Guitar has been part of my life since I was around six years old, and piano/keyboard became an important part of my development as a composer and musician. I also work with songwriting, improvisation, music production and rhythm, and have been playing bongos since 2022.
Since 2019, I’ve taught through private lessons, music academies and specialised music programs. My current teaching work includes instrumental lessons as well as composition and music-production mentoring.
My approach is personalised rather than based on one rigid method. Every student learns differently, so I try to understand what music they enjoy, what they want to achieve and which approach will help them progress most effectively.
I believe learning music should be something you look forward to, not another obligation. Technique and theory are important, but they should help you understand and create the music you care about.
My goal is not simply to teach an instrument. I want to help students develop as musicians — understanding what they play, making their own musical decisions, exploring creativity and gradually becoming more confident and independent.
Lessons are available from my private studio in Randwick or online, and can be taught in English or Spanish.
