Claire is an accomplished clarinet teacher with extensive experience of over 15 years across Private and Government Schools in Perth, Canberra and Sydney, including All Saints’ College and Scotch College in Perth. She welcomes students of all ages (children and adults), from beginner to advanced levels, with an emphasis on developing a genuine love of music and strong musical foundation to help them reach their goals. Past students have achieved outstanding results, including High Distinctions in AMEB exams, top eisteddfod prizes, top ATAR Music performance results, GATE music placements, and high school and university music scholarships.
Claire is a qualified teacher who holds a Bachelor of Music (Australian National University) and advanced clarinet performance studies from Hungary. She also has extensive experience conducting school ensembles and supporting school band programs across Australia.
She is an engaging and passionate teacher, who has the technical knowledge, experience and rapport to unlock each student’s full potential and passion, overcome weaknesses and become confident clarinet players. She tailors her lessons to each student’s individual learning goals, interests and ability.
Lessons are held at Claire’s home studio in Riverton. Shared lessons and group lessons are also available.
