Teacher Profile
I have been teaching flute for 7 years. I have a Bachelor of Music (honours) from UQ, extensive performance experience. I have been nominated for the Freedman Fellowship and received the James Carson Memorial Prize and O’Brien Family Prize for my performances. I have performed at the Brisbane Music Festival and recorded with the ABC. Currently, I am employed at Mary MacKillop College and Citipointe Christian College as a band director and woodwind teacher, and by the QUT Music Society Concert Band as conductor. I have a lot of experience teaching for AMEB exams and auditions, but I am also very happy to teach if you are just learning for fun! I offer lessons on flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder and music theory!
