Teacher Profile
Irena Pietrasik runs a private practice in piano teaching from her home providing a music education for everyone of any age for personal enjoyment and/or for preparation for AMEB examinations (in which her students have performed with excellent results).
Since coming to Australia in 1998, she has also worked in schools, teaching piano and keyboard, as well as providing theory tuition for individuals and groups.
Irena has extensive experience in teaching and would like to bring these skills for the benefit of people studying music.
Her musical background was commenced in Poland, the country of her birth. Irena studied at Katowice Academy of Music for 5 years.
It was a comprehensive education in musical pedagogy.
