Australian flute player Laura Chislett has established herself on the international stage as a performer, educator and recording artist across a wide range of musical styles. Her recordings, on ten different labels and multiple streaming platforms, range from Bach and Lili Boulanger, to Xenakis, Ferneyhough and Chris Dench.
Laura has performed recitals and chamber music both in Australia and overseas (Shanghai, Hanoi, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Turin, London, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Houston, etc). Music connects us all across cultures and language divides; it can release us from the boundares of chronological time. Our lives are enriched through the sharing of live musical experiences.
Laura is committed to the education of younger musicians through online and F2F lessons.
