Teacher Profile
Xiwen is an experienced flute teacher, who has over 14 years of flute study and performing. She has completed her music performance bachelor’s degree at Monash University and is currently completing her Master of Teaching (Secondary music) degree at the University of Melbourne. Xiwen has been playing in the Monash wind symphony, Monash Chamber music ensembles, and currently working as the music director of Melbourne University’s Chinese Music Group. Xiwen is passionate to teach students performance skills along with music theory and share the love of music through exploration in the music journey together.
