Teacher Profile
Mark Lvov is a violin and viola teacher. He can accommodate students seeking Suzuki method training, or the traditional approach. He seeks to give students not only professional violin skills but also a broad foundation in music education. He encourages students to listen to and explore many styles of music. Valuing technique, he pays special attention to positioning of both hands. Mark is a patient teacher who is able to explain technical and difficult problems quite easily. Whilst mindful of technique, he aims to make enjoyment of music the focus of string studies.
