PETER THORNE
I am a professional violin player and teacher with 40 years of experience , in Canberra and around the country .
I have taught in private and public schools and have also taught privately .
I have performed with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra , the Australian Pops Orchestra ,
the State Orchestra of Victoria , and many other ensembles .
I have also performed many chamber music concerts .
I have performed for leading musicians such as John Farnham , Kate Cebrano , Peter Allen , Alan Zaphod ,
Dame Joan Sutherland , Nelli Shkolinkova , I have played in the Orchestra for the Logies .
I have performed for Prince Charles and Diana , the Governor General , the Governor of Victoria
and many public and private concerts .
With this wealth of experience I am now setting up a studio to begin teaching in the
Tuggeranong area . All welcome to come and learn to play the violin .
