With nearly a decade of teaching experience ranging from kinder age to high school, and over 15 years experience playing music, I have a real passion for instilling not only the skills of the instrument, but also the skills of musicality in general. As a graduate of a Bachelor of Music Composition from Monash University, I value deep listening, aural skills, and embodiment of music. I have experience playing classical, jazz, as well as traditional Indonesian and Chinese musics and hope that I can help and support you in learning the music you love!
I’m primarily a trumpet player but can also teach across the range of valved brass instruments. I can also cater to those interested in music theory, arranging, and composition.
