Teacher Profile
Hi! I’m Rachel Fisher. I’m studying Secondary Education at James Cook University, so I love to teach. I have been playing piano since 2006 and have completed AMEB Piano for Leisure exams Grade 1-8.
I aim to make piano lessons dynamic and exciting!
I teach students aged 5 to adult, using the Encore on Keys and Piano Adventures curriculums, though I am also happy to explore other options. Once musically competent, students are able to complete AMEB Piano for Leisure exams if they wish.
I teach at home, in Annandale (Townsville) and offer 30 min and 45 min lessons. Alternatively, I offer paired lessons, which a great and fun opportunity to learn together. These lessons are ideal for young beginners.
I also offer music theory tutoring.
