Highly accomplished pianist and very experienced teacher with 30 years experience in primary, secondary and tertiary education facilities including Independent Schools, Colleges and Universities. Ex ‘Team of Pianists’, experienced giving masterclasses and seminars on piano pedagogy.
Bachelor, Graduate Diploma and Masters Degree qualified, I have taught, mentored and coached young and adult musicians from beginners to seasoned performing musicians. My students have achieved excellent results in AMEB exams, have often performed as part of their school music programs, and many have developed skills across styles including classical, pop, jazz and improvised music.
Some students have also studied fundamental guitar with me which develops their rhythm and harmony fluency for modern pop styles.
