Brisbane-born pianist Victor Huang began piano studies at seven and currently studies Bachelor of Music at Monash University. He earned his ATCL Performance Diploma in 2018 and the AMEB Licentiate Diploma in 2019 at age thirteen. Victor has won numerous prizes and awards at the Ipswich Eisteddfod, Redlands Eisteddfod, Gold Coast Eisteddfod, and Queensland Piano Competition.

Victor has performed Bartok’s Third Piano Concerto with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra in 2023, and was the winner of the Performer of the Year Recital Section in 2022, and the Concerto Section in 2023 at St Peters Lutheran College, performing the second and third movements of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1 with the St Peter’s Symphony Orchestra. At the graduation ceremony, Victor was the recipient of the Magdalene Radke Bursary for Cultural Excellence. Victor also has relished in masterclasses by esteemed pianists, whom he has shared with students he has taught in Brisbane, varying in learning pace and artistic goals. He hopes to continue sharing his musical knowledge and experience to anyone who has passion and enthusiasm for piano playing, whether preparing for an upcoming exam or developing skills as a musician.
