Piano Music Teacher and Accompanist
Po Goh is a first year university student studying a double degree of Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University, specialising in classical piano performance, under the pedagogy of Dr. Kenji Fujimura. He completed VCE Music Performance with a perfect score of 50 and VCE Music Investigation with a study score of 48, and has attained the Associate Diploma in Music, Australia (AMusA). He has also had extensive performance experience, having performed two concertos during high school, and always taking as many available opportunities for solo performance as he can. In lessons, Po aims to develop musicality and technique, and make music and enjoyable and interesting pursuit. He believes sound technical foundation is important in piano playing and will greatly enhance a student’s experience in piano, but above all, he believes teaching should be about helping students create music. Po holds lessons at his home in Nunawading, but alternative arrangements can be negotiated. He holds a current Working With Children Check. He also offers accompaniment, orchestration and arrangement services.
