Personalised violin lessons for beginners and developing players, planned around each learner.
• Training: Grade 8 violin; working towards the A.Mus Diploma.
• Experience: Over 10 years playing; concertmaster/principal violinist for more than three years; performed with Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Maroondah Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Strings and Chamber Strings.
• Teaching: Experience with young students; patient, encouraging approach.
• Lesson focus: Posture, bow technique, intonation, rhythm, tone and music reading, with clear practice guidance.
• Methods and languages: Suzuki or AMEB; English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Lesson options: Online, at my home in Wantirna South, or travel up to 10 km.
• Rates: $49/hour; first lesson free; $9 travel fee.
