Hello I’m Somesh, a musician and music teacher performing on the drum kit, and muddling through on piano and percussion for fun when I have time.
I’ve been teaching music since 2019, I love the process of getting to know my students. Making you feel comfortable at the instrument and engaged with the music you like is my goal. I teach all ages and skill levels.
I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from the Victorian College of the Arts, and recently I received an arts grant (from ArtsACT) to study under world renowned drummer Coilin Stranahan in New York City. While I was there I got the chance to learn off a lot of other great musicians and do a bit of playing as well.
I teach out of a sunny studio in Dickson, and charge $100 per hour with option for lesson lengths between 30 minutes to an hour. We can discuss adjusting the rate for your situation. Feel free to get in touch and ask me anything.
