My name is Jerry and I am currently offering private flute tutoring in Cherrybrook (WWCC approved). Whether you are wishing to learn pieces for an AMEB exam, HSC performance, eisteddfod or just for leisure, I’m passionate about helping you achieve your musical goals and to assist you with becoming a better flutist. I am also offering tutoring for Music 2 and Music Extension.
My recent achievements are as follows:
- 1st in Junior Flute and Junior Woodwind Champion of Champions in the Yamaha Australian National Band Championships (2019)
- 2nd in NSW for HSC Music Extension (2018) with full marks
- High band 6 for HSC Music 2 (2018)
- Nominated for ENCORE (2018)
- 1st in Under 19 Woodwind (Sydney Metropolitan Band Branch Trophy) in the Sydney Metropolitan Solo and Ensemble Competition (2018)
- Completed AMEB Flute Grade 8 with High Distinction (2017)
- Currently and previously principal flutist of various ensembles (orchestral and concert band)
